Terms and Conditions

Canard is a small boutique business selling vintage and antique finds sourced over a number of years, each item individually picked in our travels. The items have already had a long life and as such show their age and natural patina.

We do our utmost to ensure the description and photographs provided are a genuine reflection of the item, we are happy to send more photographs if requested.
All our pieces are sold subject to the understanding that the goods are in a condition commensurate to their age. Please chose carefully as we do not offer refunds if you change your mind.

The items on the site may also be for sale at Pop Up events. If by chance you place an order for an item that has just been sold, we will be in contact as soon as possible to arrange a refund.

Your order can be picked up in person from our Coromandel Viewing Room by arrangement, or we can arrange delivery within New Zealand.

We use NZ Courier to deliver your order and the postage prices are based on their pricing list.

Should you prefer another courier we can accommodate in most cases so please ask. All shipping excludes insurance, if you would like to add freight insurance, please let us know.

If you submit a comment allowing the courier to leave the parcel on your property, you do so at your own risk. We are unable to replace or credit your parcel in the event it goes missing.

We do our best to dispatch orders within 2 – 3 business days. Over the New Zealand winter, we will be hunting for new products in Europe so during this time orders may be delayed.

All prices on the Canard website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Orders will be processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) only. If you wish to make payment via Credit card a 2.8% surcharge will be added, it is preferred if payment is made via debit card or bank transfer.

Canard reserves the right to change prices of goods advertised on this website without any prior notice. Orders will not be processed until payment is received in full.
