Great patina, enamel always looks better with age, the labels are very warn but that allows you to paint your own labels to the canister.

PROVENANCE
Bought at a village Brocante in Uzes, one of our favourite towns in the South of France. On a very balmy summer morning and just outside the village a huge Brocante popped up overnight. My French was (and unfortunately still remains) minimal but I headed along coffee, croissant, carrier bags and notebook in hand and began to haggle with the best of them. The lovely man I bought these canisters off was very patient with me and we came to a win win on a number of his great items.
