Ceramic Dolls head (replica)
Ceramic dolls heads where popular in the 1890s when rag dolls were made, the maker would sow the head onto the soft body of the doll. This is of course a replica great to add to a little girls dresser vignette. Or of course made a lovely rag doll with it.
Being a replica, it is new and in excellent condition
H130mm x W90mm
Purchased in Amsterdam
Bought in a cute little vintage shop in one of the original windmills at Zaanse Schans on the out skirts of Amsterdam, it’s a great open-air museum with a working mill, well worth a visit and to find a vintage / décor shop was a pleasant surprise.
