Vintage dark stain wooden storage vessel, hand carved could have carried water, has a red painted lid with a tight fit and very old rope as the handle.
CONDITION
Condition very good for age although it’s hard to estimate how old.

Now that’s a difficult one, I purchased it from a lovely lady in Leamington Spa in the north of England, she purchased it from a trader in Amsterdam, Noord Holland who obtained it from a village in Hungary, or so I am told. All I can be sure of is I bought it in the UK and brought it back to NZ with me and I know its origin is Hungarian, it’s a well-travelled piece now looking to settle down.
