Large Blue and white wooden duck
This handsome large hand painted wooden duck has a secret to share, he’s a great place to keep your spare change or keys as he opens up.
CONDITION
In great condition, with a few minor chips commensurate with age and three small man-made holes on the base no idea what these were for (sorry).

ORIGIN
This remains a mystery, as I have never seen one before or since, but as he was found in the Midlands of England, I have to assume he is an English gentleman.
ERA
If I was to make a guess and that is all it would be I think he’s possibly 1950s
PROVENANCE
This lovely fellow was looking down on me every time I was in the Banbury Antiques Centre (www.banburyantiquescentre.co.uk) where I had my first couple of vintage booths. He was owned by a fellow vintage fan. One day I decided I had found a great place for him and he came home with me happy days. Now having returned to NZ I want to find him a new home.
